Friendly, relaxed, family owned bed & breakfast in the beautiful white village (pueblo blanco) of

El Gastor in the heart of rural Andalucia, southern Spain. We also have available a fully renovated rustic village house and a separate studio apartment for those who prefer self-catering.

El Gastor is the perfect base for you to enjoy the stunning scenery of the nearby Grazalema Natural Park, the Serranía de Ronda and the Sierra de la Nieves. There are numerous outdoor activities available nearby including horse riding, mountain biking, walking and hiking, rock climbing, canyoning and even paragliding (the World Championships took place a few years ago in nearby Algodonales). The village itself situated just above the shores of Lake Zahara which is popular for fishing, kayaking, canoeing and swimming.

Wildlife watching is fantastic; ibex, eagles, griffon vultures and many species of migratory birds.  In the spring the abundance of wild flowers (including several indigenous orchids) is magnificent.

You could not choose a more central location to enjoy sightseeing in the great Andalucian cities of Jerez, Cadiz, Seville, Granada, Cordoba and, one of our personal favourites, the little known Osuna. Also, not too far away, are the coastal resorts of the Costa del Sol and the unspoilt Costa de la Luz on the Atlantic.

All in all, a perfect holiday area for those who wish to experience the real Spain and enjoy its people and the Andalucian way of life.
